This Hamden bathroom got a much needed modern makeover. We gut the walls back to framing while carefully preserving the original cast iron tub. We also rebuilt the interior of the existing medicine cabinet while keeping the original door. From there, the homeowners great taste in design choices are truly the highlights of this space. The brass fixtures pop against the custom made wainscoting, painted in a smoky green that perfectly matched the floral wallpaper. We installed vertical subway tile in the shower and a marble herringbone pattern on the floor.
